What is new in the present edition is the chapter Peasant Recipesin the Clay Cookware . The chapter gives examples of traditional foods - recipes collected during the field research work - for which various types of clay vessels are used, showing the usefulness of pottery and the close relationship between the form and the purpose of the clay vessel.
